Calling All Makers!

The Maker Faire Rocklin is a full-blown community festival that brings together science, art, craft, homesteading and engineering plus music, food, workshops, and performance.

In previous years, we were thrilled to meet over 8,000 people throughout Sierra College, all excited, and curious, about Maker Faire!  Attendees got to meet over 120 makers showing and explaining projects of all sorts and sizes; participate in hands-on workshops and making across tech, craft, science; and enjoy a few area of music, demos, panels & more.

This year, Sierra College will be the host location for another great Maker Faire Rocklin on Saturday, October 7, 2023 with its new time, 10am to 2pm.

This family-friendly event showcases the amazing work of all kinds of makers across Placer County, Sacramento County, and beyond—anyone who is embracing the DIY or DIT (do-it-together!) spirit and wants to share their accomplishments with an appreciative audience.  Exhibits that are interactive or highlight the process of making things are especially desired.
